For small fish that require supplementary live feed, black soldier fly larvae are an excellent food source. Lin Yufeng points out that the specifications for small aquatic live feed are crucial. Additionally, feeding Thai shrimp black soldier fly larvae has shown to yield earlier harvests. Due to the barbecue season during the Mid-Autumn Festival, the price of Thai shrimp is usually at its highest before the festival. This year, shrimp farmers collaborating with Xun Chuang Biotechnology harvested approximately two weeks earlier than their competitors in the same region, achieving a high meat yield and plump roe, thus saving on feed costs while seizing market opportunities.
