What is black soldier fly "frass"?

Using plant-based residues, primarily soybean dregs, as feed for black soldier flies, with other supplementary ingredients such as wheat bran, starch, and palm residue, the black soldier flies digest and ferment these materials thoroughly. The resulting frass consists of fly excrement, shed exoskeletons, and some coarse fibers, collectively forming black soldier fly frass.

Depending on the different formulations and ratios, there are fertilizers suitable for small-scale potted plants, indoor greenery, and recreational gardening, as well as fertilizers designed for large-scale farming, urban planning, and landscaping projects.
